Questions about tracking
Will I need a developer?
No. IDs and tokens are pasted into the settings, and tags load by themselves.
Will a lead count twice?
No. Browser and server share the same ID. Closedy also keeps a single event per ad account and per ID.
What if a visitor refuses cookies?
No pixel loads and nothing goes to your ad accounts. If you turned on cookieless measurement, GA4 only receives anonymous counts.
How do I track organic?
Add a utm_source to your links, in a bio or a video for example. Without UTM, Closedy recognises known referring sites, otherwise the lead counts as direct.
Can I track my own site?
Not yet. Pixels load on Closedy funnel pages, not on pages hosted elsewhere.
